Bishop Lonnie E. Gray is the Pastor and founder of First Resurrection Church of God in Statesville, North Carolina and Divine Truth Restoration Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina. Having served in ministry for 38 years (33 years as Pastor), his love for ministry is honored by the fact that God has chosen him to carry His precious word. Dr. Gray is faithfully committed to evangelizing the world through crusaders, prayer, christian education, and counseling, in an effort to restore both families and individuals who are in need of spiritual restoration.

Bishop Gray is truly committed to kingdom work. Bishop Elect Gray is a graduate of Fellowship Community Bible Institute of Johnson City, Tennessee, as well as the Ambassador Christian College in Kannapolis, North Carolina, where he obtained his Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Theology. God has blessed him with the opportunity to acquire biblical knowledge that he adamantly shares with others. Bishop Elect Gray has ministered in many places in the United States, as well as in Onatario, Canada.

Leading Lady Mary Jean Gray was born in Taylorsville, NC and is the youngest of 17 siblings. Lady Gray is very unique in her role as First Lady of First Resurrection Church. She believes in being a “hands on” Leading Lady, where she enjoys singing with the choir, assisting in the kitchen by preparing food for church functions, fund raisers, and much more. The term “First Lady” is more than a title and she expresses her love for her husband and the members of this ministry through her actions.

Leading Lady Gray is the ministry leader of the Women’s Division of First Resurrection. She serves as an exemplary model of what virtuous women should be. She provides words of wisdom with the women of the church of all stages and ages. She is compassionate, loving, and always wear an infectious smile. She illustrates how to be a strong woman of integrity, a supportive wife and mother, and most importantly, a spirit-filled woman of God who is not afraid to operate in her spiritual gifts.

In her leisure time, Leading Lady Gray enjoys spending time with her family and shopping. This year, she will be retiring from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. Lady Gray is highly respected by all members of the First Resurrection Church of God. Bishop and Leading Lady Gray reside in Charlotte, North Carolina and have been married for 49 years. They have three daughters, Rochelle, Dedra, and Tiffany, which comprise the anointed singing group SaCred. Pastor and Lady Gray are leaders who lead by example and who are committed to serving all people with the love of Christ!
